My latest series "The Avengers" is inspired by this summers 1st big blockbuster movie The Avengers. It shows a glimpse of the "men behind the mask" so to speak. I hope you enjoy these pieces!

Monday, February 13, 2012 at 6:15PM My latest series in inspired by my three favorite actresses - Natalie Portman, Keira Knightley and Mila Kunis. For these talented women, I decided to handle them with a more delicate style than I am used to. I chose to use soft pastel colors in the background contrasted with the strong visual effect of the black and white subjects. I added some just off-color splashes in the background and incorperated those colors into the clothing of the figures.

The complete Legends Series is also available for purchase (16 X 14 on cardstock). "Walt" is Part 1 of 2 in my Breaking Bad series. Still some details to be worked out until its 100% complete. Bryan Cranston plays Walt perfectly on AMC's Breaking Bad. He delicately balances the intimidating and intense meth manufacturer he is forced to become with the kind and caring family figure and high school teacher he is so familiar with. He was recently nominated for a Golden Globe and has won several Emmy Awards for his excellent portrayal of this character.

I hope everyone had a great holiday break! I have been working on a ton of works during December - mainly commissions. In my latest work, the two baddest vampire hunters ever - Blade and Buffy, team up to kick some serious ass. Blade 4 is rumored to be in writing and Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy) directed the upcoming Avengers... Anyway, you can check out some of my process here, as well as a few others I just updated on there.
I have very big plans for the new year. As always I would love to take suggestions as to who I should paint, leave ideas in the comments. I have a few in mind that I am very excited about and I have serveral "series" in mind to complete within the next few months. I also aim to get as many prints done of already completed works as possible. And yes, this includes "Hova" the Jay-Z print, as I know this one is in high demand.
